Photography has been a lifelong passion. I grew up in a creative home — my father is an architect — so I was constantly surrounded by thoughtful design, an appreciation for light, and a deep respect for detail. That upbringing shaped the way I see the world and, ultimately, the way I photograph weddings. Every frame I create is guided by the same principles: balance, intention, and authenticity.

I specialize in timeless, story-driven wedding imagery — the kind that captures not just what your day looked like, but how it felt. From the quiet, stolen moments between partners to the joyful chaos of a first dance, I'm there to document every layer of your celebration with artistry and care.

I'm based in Southern California and regularly photograph weddings throughout some of California's most breathtaking settings: Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Santa Barbara, Lake Tahoe.

My approach is relaxed and personal. I believe the best wedding photos come from couples who feel at ease — and a big part of my job is making sure you, and everyone around you, actually enjoy the experience. Past couples have described me as their personal hype man, a calm presence in a hectic moment, and someone who feels more like a friend than a vendor by the end of the day.

A few things about me beyond the camera

Faith is a big part of who we are. I'm part of a Thursday morning men's group that keeps me grounded and accountable, and Nichole and I do a life group together with five other couples — it's one of our favorite parts of the week. Community, showing up for people, and doing life together are values that run deep for us, and honestly, they show up in the way I approach every wedding too.

Life outside of weddings also looks like this: three kids, two dogs (Poppy and Crouton — yes, we named a dog Crouton and we have zero regrets), and a whole lot of time spent outside together. We're a beach family, a paddleboarding family, a "let's go throw a ball around at the park for no reason" family. Nichole is my best friend and my go-to partner for hunting down new coffee spots and restaurants — it's basically our love language at this point.

I grew up in Lake Tahoe, lived in Southern California for years, and honestly feel at home in both places. I played competitive soccer most of my life and these days I'm living out my athletic glory in an adult softball league with some buddies — which is every bit as fun and slightly less graceful as it sounds.

Bottom line: I love people, I love being outside, and I genuinely love what I do. That energy shows up at every wedding I shoot — and I think that's what makes the difference.
